List Maintenance
  • Mail Manager 2010 allows the user to add, delete or modify records, define indexes and selectivity, and perform a wide range of global list update functions.
  • Identify Duplicates with a powerful de-duping feature that allows the user to hide, mark, and print reports of duplicate records. You can also copy data from one duplicate record to another.
  • Hide & Unhide, Delete, Modify Selected records, Filtering, List Back Up, Create Sublists, Deleting Lists and Printing a Directory of Lists. View records in your list....find and replace records quickly and easily. Auto ZIP+4 button encodes records automatically as you add them to your list or you can encode a single record or a group of selected records.
  • Create Layouts for Lists
    Create unique layouts for each list or use one master layout. Or use one of 10 standard mailing and data templates. Click, drag and drop to create any number of fields in a layout. Choose from over 100 fields commonly found in mailing lists. Standard fields include Name, Company, Delivery Addresses, City, State, ZIP+4, POSTNET Barcode and Optional Endorsement Line.

    Alignment
    Adjustment and alignment of fields is quick & easy. Use Auto Field Alignment... Flush Right, Flush Left, Centered while creating or modifying layouts, labels or reports.

    Modify Layouts
    Simply click & drag for immediate changes to layouts at any point...at any time.

    Importing Files Supported
    The following formats (file types) can be imported into Mail Manager 2010: Don't Know - Let Us Guess, Borland Paradox, DBase, Delimited file, Fixed length fields (CR/LF) file, FoxPro, Label images disk file, MS Access, MS Excel, Standard ASCII fixed length file, USPS CDS file & any existing Mail Manager 2000 list.

    Exporting Files Supported
    Mail Manager 2010 has the ability to export to most formats including Borland Paradox, dBase, FoxPro, Delimited, Fixed length (CR/LF), Standard ASCII fixed length. Mail Manager 2010's selectivity feature can be used on all importing and exporting.

    Data Filters
    Convert to mixed or all upper case, remove spaces, strip leading zeroes on a Field-By-Field Basis. This process can be used during import, export and even when you are creating labels or reports.

    Gender Assignment
    This feature gives the user the ability to populate the Gender field based on an internal database of over 21,000 first names.

    Join/Split Fields
    Simple drag & drop process to join or split any number of fields during the import of files. Examples: Split a Full Name field into First Name and Last Name fields for the easy creation of personalized letters. Join a Suite field with a delivery address. Split a field with City, State and ZIP into three separate fields.
