Printers Supported
Mail Manager 2010 supports ANY Windows compatible printer. In addition, it supports most non-Windows printers that are commonly found in the mailroom. Simply click on the Add button and choose from a comprehensive list of band, dot matrix, line matrix and laser printers.
High End Inkjet Support
Mail Manager 2010 can output files to most proprietary data formats used by high-end inkjets. Videojet, Marconi Print Mail, MCS Pro Inkjet, WinkJet, SureJet, Scitex, Prism, Buskro, Domino, Astrojet.
Machine Readable and Visual Separators
Markings provided include Edge and Line Scan codes; asterisks, small or large blocks and pound signs. These markings identify pack, sack and tray breaks for high-speed scanning equipment. Visual separators include 11 different pack codes and 17 sack codes.
Special Label Fields
Mail Manager 2010 provides 26 special fields including: Optional Endorsement Line, POSTNET Barcode (including Genicom graphics mode), Modulus 10 Check Digit, Record Number, PLANET Barcode, Sack/Pack Numbers (can be placed on the first, last or every label), Sequential Label Number, ZIP+4 Delivery Point Combination, ACS Keyline, In-County Indicator and ZIP+4/DP Check Digit Combo.
Writing Presort Information to Electronic File
Ability to write all presort information back to a file for custom processing by other mailroom equipment (high-speed lasers, intelligent inserters, etc.) and other software applications. Information includes Presort Sequence Number, Optional Endorsement Line, Sort Schemes, Pack & Sack markers and Presort Stream Codes. This information can be merged into statements, personalized letters, invoices, etc. that are going to be printed and prepared for presentation to the USPS at reduced postage rates.
